John Keats once said- a thing of beauty is a joy forever…
According to me, the internet has perfected itself in so many ways around us that sometimes we fail to realize it. Today I had this golden opportunity to sit among bright and ignited minds at #IoT blogging and personal branding workshop held at Amity university, where I realized a new meaning of the famous quote by Mr. Keats.
The session started with Jitendra Vaswani‘s valuable insights on personal branding where he shared stories about blogging legends like Jon Morrow, John Chow. This session perfectly imbibed the idea in the audience that finding a perfect niche with the readers is foremost important when it comes to branding. Success stories of entrepreneurs like Lewis Howes, Chris Ducker, and Gary Vaynerchuk speak volumes about the scope and possibility of blogging in a personal branding mannerism.
Throwing light on the startup culture Shivam Ahuja, founder of Delhi startups.org threw light upon the factors which are the stepping stones in cultivating any idea towards building a sustainable revenue model out of it. He spoke about the failures and why it is important to fail. Through our failures, our worthiness redefines itself as a survivor and that instinct when blended with a never say die attitude always results in something marvelous and unique.
As the agenda of this meetup was the #internet of things, Rahul Rakesh, founder of Networthy.in joined the discussion by presenting his prized 4c’s model of entrepreneurship and narrating his journey from when he started blogging as a freelancer to when he started making six figures via affiliate marketing per month!!! The Internet has surely touched lives in the manner we couldn’t expect few years back and we are the witness to this giant shift of general public interest from being social(public gatherings) to being social(networking sites/blogs). Platforms like #IoT meetup are helping a lot of budding entrepreneurs, digital marketing strategists, content curators and graphic designers to mutually share their valuable networking channels as they finally get the team they are looking for the most. Also, on a lighter note, the birds finally get to flock together so that they can soar high above the clouds towards the horizon where the magic happens #entrepreneurship.
