This has already been in the news for quite some time, the Belgian spy Hercule Poirot created by Agatha Christie may have to travel to India in order to solve his next case.
This would be Poirot’s second case after the much-celebrated reboot of the character in Monogram murders after 40 years by Sophie Hannah. In a continuing sequence of carrying forward the legacy of the spy after Monogram murders; Hannah cites that the character of Hercule Poirot is a man who loves travelling and expeditions very much…so there is no any contradiction as to why he shouldn’t be in India in the next novel!
Hannah’s book last year had Poirot’s first comeback in 40 years after Christie last featured Poirot in her 1975 book Curtain: Poirot’s Last Case. The Grand Dame has sold over two billion copies of her books, outsold only by Shakespeare and the Bible.
