It’s your favorite time of the day, you take a sip of coffee to start writing for your blog and ZAPP just like that you feel stuck; unable to move the cursor on a roller coaster ride to your thoughts. This is a very common syndrome among bloggers and writers out there and often christened as the writer’s dilemma.
Now before proceeding towards the solution part, first lets focus on the problem; that is getting stuck and unable to co-relate the points whirl-winding inside your mind. when we reach a mental blockade on any topic, there can be various reasons –
- Lack of knowledge about the subject
- Lack of interest in the topic
- Too much criticism by ourselves
These three factors influence our sense of judgement while putting words to our thoughts and manifest into a blank expression which every blogger despises. As you are aware that skills like writing has a lot to do with proper connection of the dots, which is why the solution to this facade lies internally.
Introspecting the causes from why you should write this to how, would not only channelize your thoughts but also bolster your perspective towards the subject. Try to analyze the topic through a bird’s eye view and pick the area from where you can start weaving magic. Another respite in this regard can be achieved by not giving in to the blockade and keep on jotting your point of views until thoughts start coming in lieu with your scheme of things. At last, don’t be too harsh on yourself and if its still not coming then take a break…..freshen up. After a certain gap try to attempt the subject from a fresh approach and then you will most probably find yourself back in charge of your quill !!!
